2006 Pennsylvania All-State Football Ballot

The Associated Press is accepting ballots for the "2006" Pennsylvania all-state high school football teams. AP members will select all-state teams for Class (AAAA), Class (AAA), Class (AA) and Class (A), plus coaches and players of the year in each class.

The deadline for voting is MONDAY, DECEMBER 18th. "No ballots" will be accepted after that date, as the teams will be compiled for release beginning Sunday, Dec. 24th. Note the release dates are later than in past seasons because the P.I.A.A. championships are being played a week later.

The tentative release dates for the all-state teams are:

Sunday AMs, Dec. 24, Class (AAAA) all-state team and player and coach of the year.

Wednesday AMs-PMs, Dec. 27, Class (AAA) all-state team and player and coach of the year.

Thursday AMs-PMs, Dec. 28, Class (AA) all-state team and player and coach of the year.

Friday AMs-PMs, Dec. 29, Class (A) all-state team and player and coach of the year.

All ballots should be e-mailed to arobinson(at)ap.org. Any corrections to the nominations lists should be e-mailed to this address as well.

I cant imagine to many lineman in double A that are better then Wayne Jones

he was a force on both sides of the line and i expect him to make an all state team


who is currently getting looks from D1AA schools like(Deleware and Maine among others) and MAC schools like (Buffalo,Kent,Toledo,Temple,and Akron)

he is also getting consideration from higher profile schools like Pitt..

where did you find out he was getting considerations from pitt
