New W.P.I.A.L. H.S. Baseball Alighnment for 2007 & 08

NEW W.P.I.A.L. BASEBALL ALIGNMENT FOR 07 & 08
12/20/2006 -
There were several changes in the new W.P.I.A.L. Baseball section alignment for the "2007 and 2008" seasons with six teams moving up in classification from the past two years and four teams moving down in class, while nine teams stay in the same class but are on the move to another section.
There will be a new W.P.I.A.L. and P.I.A.A. Class (AAA) champion this spring because the biggest move was the "2006" district and state champion Pine-Richland Rams moving up from Class (AAA) to Class (AAAA). Another Class (AAA) power also made the move up as the Peters Township Indians are now in Class (AAAA).
Duquesne High School will not be fielding a team in the upcoming "2007" baseball season.
