Westmont vs Central Cambria

Post by hoopbasket »

Looks like these two could be undefeated in the LH when they meet at the end of the season. Has anybody seen both of them play and any predictions? I have seen them both and it should be a good game but I think that Westmont has to much speed for CC.

Westmont will be able to shoot their way to a victory

Stephenson and Balog are top notch shooters in this confrence

Is Holsinger still hurt?

I would say Westmont by 15 without Holsinger, and Westmont by 5 with Holsinger. If anyone has noticed CC has been going downhill since Holsinger's injury. There's no way that Penn Cambria should be able to hang with the Devils with how good CC is.

Miller is a great shooter, but he's probably going to be guarded by Watson...and Watson is way too fast for Miller to be able to set up and take good shots. Watson's gonna be in his face all day

Madmax, you must have never seen Miller play then. He is just as quick as Watson is, and will get his share of shots no matter what.

yessir id take miller over any guard in the lhac (watson included). the kids a player and hes got the balls to take big shots in pressure situations. may i ask who will guard mike gowen? and dont worry, westmont will never have seen anything like the pressure d theyll see from the devils. good luck to mr. balog and mr. stephenson.

Okay, with CC and Westmont all playing games they are expected to win in the week and a half preceding their big matchup, the two lhac titans should be 23-0 and 22-1 respectively at the time of the game of the year. Whos got who and by how many?

Im saying if CC keeps it anywhere under 10 by the fourth quarter they'll pull it out -- with the home court advantage (thank you PIT) and the tight game fortunes theyve had this year, how can you not go against the close game tested Devils against the Hilltoppers?

I think Westmont's shooting will be too tough, for the Devils unless Gowen and Holsinger can score alot inside against the relatively smaller WH squad. I dont think there will even be a chance for anymore Miller heroics because the Hilltoppers should be up by more than 2 or 3. Ill go with Westmont 73 CC 66. We should get to see this matchup again not too many days after this one in the LHAC championship if i am correct.
