Best Players of Bedford County Ever

I'd have to say that some of the best players were:

Tim Miller: Always seemed to pull a goal from nowhere

Fred Wolf: Super hard shot and usually in the right place to use it

Jared McDonald: One of the best goalies I've ever had the privaledge to watch

Joey Bishoff: Great defence and placement

Connor Baer: Young kid that started as a sophmore every game with 13 goals

Coty Hainsey: super speed, ball placement/control, endurance, and overall skill

Mike Goddissart: Thrown into a starting varsity goalie position unexpectedly as a sophmore and handled the pressure amazingly now one of the best goalies around

Cameron Corle: Always goes down, and always comes back up...with the ball in his possession

And last but not least, I have to give it up for...

Zack Stellfox: One of the best long rangers of all time. Scored the winning goal ...3 seasons ago?... against Ridge's earlier mentioned goalie, Jared McDonald in the final, pressure filled, minutes

just to add a few more....

kevin dudak: the best goalie in the area... period...

aaron mcdonald: a great all-around player, but unable to play much this year due to injuries.

drew bollman: overall, one of the best midfielders there is.

ryan hocker: the hardest hitting player you'll ever come across.

Mitch Persun: One of the best overall soccer players i've seen in a loooong time

Yall are way too young to remember any of the best players ever...and I do thank you for the honorable mention sputnik, but I never scored a game winner against ridge, my first goal against them was in a 3-0 victory and my second was an equaliser in a 2-2 draw. But thanks for the mad props.

Now as for best ever....Im not familiar with the older players from other schools but i do have to say that from bedford...

Interesting topic. Here is my list. I have been coaching in the county only since 2000 so I do not remember players from before then. Also, Gunner, I don't know Bedford as well because they are not in the SHL, so if I slight some Bedford players, I apologize.

I also have not included any current players because the only ones who would even be in the debate are CR's Hainsey and Goddisart, Bedford's Bollman, and Hyndman's Levi Bingham

From Hyndman: (Younger players might not remember that Hyndman was pretty decent 4-5 years ago)

Corey Diehl, Levi Shaffer, MJ Parsons, Brandon Bingham

From Everett:

Tom Brambley (can't think of any others who could be among the "Best Ever"

From Ridge:

John Dovola, Wolfs (Fred and his older brother, whose name I don't remember)

Ridge was not good until the past two years so their best players of all time are probably on the current roster (Hainsey and Goddisart)

From NB:

Mitch Persun, Scott Suiters, Dan Oberman, Travis Hoover, Matt Shaffron
(most of these are from the 2005 team - one of the best in county history)

From Bedford:

Eric Nelson, Tim Miller, Zach Stellfox, Pete Bridges, Tyler Bollman, many others whose names I have forgotten (Gunner feel free to fill in)

Fred's older brother's name was Josh and, yes, he was a good player.
