Which school has the better academics or athletics- Westmont or McCort? Westmont's got my vote on both counts.

Westmont is one of the nicest schools in the Johnstown area. In the classroom, I've heard nothing but good things about what goes on on top of the hill.

Athletics...if you look at the big picture...are fairly even. However, if there would be a tie-breaker, it'd have to be football-since we live in PA. The nod goes to McCort.

how can u say that athletics is equal b/c westmont has held the all-sports trophy for the past 7 years. being good at football doesnt mean anythin in the long run.

IMO:

When I look at the success of a program, I look at the big 3...football, basketball, and baseball. Ask any Sports Information Director, at any college, and they'll tell you the same.

Westmont is good at 1 out of 3...but strong in other less popular sports such as golf, soccer, ect.

McCort is strong in all of the Big 3, but doesn't have wrestling, and isn't as strong in some of the less popular sports (Does McCort have swimming?).

Just my Opinion.

Doesn't McCort have some PIHL titles?
