Ferry started out the game with a 3 and we played great the whole first half and were ahead 26-13 (we didnt let houck or tate do much of anything which made the rest of the team do more).. Then in the 3rd, Williamsburg came out in a man-press and we didn't score for about 5/6 minutes, but then Shannon Laratonda got fouled and put both freethrows in.. Nicki Neil then came down and made 2 threes.. The game started getting pretty scrappy in the 4th, but the Dragons came through with the win!!!...

Probably missed some big details though.. haha.. But theres some!

Is Williamsburg as good as they think they are this year?

I think that teams that don't know much about the lady pirates are going to have a tuff time against them.. But we knew that Jess Houck was a very good stand-still shooter, and that Morgan Tate was very good with the drive, jump shot, 3, and that she was a lefty.. Which helped us in the fact that they didn't get to do their stong things, making the rest of the team help (which Amber Severa did alot).. But, I'd say that they are pretty good and have a GREAT coaching staff.. Coach Don Appleman and Brady(also junior high coach) really know what they are talking about when it comes to basketball, and they got back into the game with their man-to-man press which caught us off guard..

Wburg boys are really quick, but are all pretty small..
