- According to Rivals.com, the NitWits are currently 19th in the nation in recruiting.

- Penn State landed this week 2 players, Devon Still (**** DE) and Derek Moye (*** WR). The Still commit is a good one for the Lions because it came down to PSU and Ohio State, and PSU won the battle. OSU's recruiting class is a lot less stellar than usual. Derek Moye is a kid who is supposed to be real underrated, but one guy who apparently saw him play (D-nice) says that Moye "belongs at Shippensburg".

- Penn State now has a Rivals 100 commit. Surprisingly, Chaz Powell's stock has shot through the roof. When he committed to PSU a long time ago, he was a *** player according to Rivals, and looked like just another kid. Now Rivals is saying he was very underrated and elevated him to **** status and actually a Top 100 level, at 79. That's great for him and Penn State.

How come Still was only second team all-state? After all, he's from DELAWARE. I mean if you can only make 2nd team in Delaware, what's that say?????

That's to say Delaware must have a lot of DE talent.

The best recruiting teams are the one's that find the 3 star players that end up being really good players. Like Tony Hunt.

So you 2 guys won't criticize Pitt's 3 star recruits like AE did, right? Getting back to Still for a minute, he was a 2nd team all-state DE from Delaware. This means, since there were 2 DE's put on the 1st team, that he is no better than the 3rd best DE in the state, perhaps even the 4th best, as 2 were put on the 2nd team. So how can you guys gets all hepped up over the 4th best DE in Delaware coming to PSU???

We've discussed how much weight those All State rankings mean. Get over it.

Well, keeping things in perspective. If Still was the 4th best DE in Texas, or California, or Florida, that would be one thing. But Delaware?

Who said 3 star recruits were worthless? I did say why make a BIG TA-DO over GETTING a 3 star recruit, especially a WR who caught only 16 passes all year, which includes going deep into the playoffs.

All State is voted on by a bunch of media folks who haven't seen any of the people even play a game.
