The Buccos have traded for more minor leaguers and "players to be named at a later date" that some of these guys have to be getting good by now. I forsee a bright future for all of the unsung Bucco heros; they'll soon be the best bunch of noname players in the entire league in a few years.

They actually have one of the best farm systems around, all 9 teams made the playoffs. They have some great pitchers down there in John VanBenschoten, Sean Burnett, Ryan Vogelson, Bryan Bullington and the likes. Atleast their pitching staff will be solid.

The Bucs don't have a bright future, their wallet is way too light to compete and NY won't do any revenue sharing.

Yeah...they just can't buy a team like most of the winning teams in baseball...

More good news from the Bronx..... The Yanks just traded for Javier Vazquez. They gave up Nick Johnson, Juan Rivera, and LHP Ben Choate or something like that.

This gives the Yanks a probable starting rotation of....
Pettite
Mussina
Vazquez
Contreras
D. Wells

Against a rotation from the BoSox....
Pedro
Schilling
Lowe
Wakefield (Last 2 subject to change)
Suppan
Small Feeet, Small Feeet!

Yeah but do you think that Schilling still has what it takes to win enough games to make a big difference?...He is pretty old to...Do you think the BoSox should've went for someone younger, someone they could develop?

I don't think the Red Sox are looking to develop. All they are trying to do is finally put together a team to beat the Yankees. I don't look for it to happen though.

Yeah that makes sense...I don't think Boston fans even care about winning the World Series...it sounds like all they care about is beating the Yankees...
