I was in track last year, or as Largeman put it i was in field. I basically sat around and listened to Billy. As i see it Bedford will be struggling with the throwers, the best they have to offer in the throwing events is mediocre on a great day

the field is definetly going to be the bison's achillies heel...at least the throwing part of field....the throwers were the backbone of the team and won alot of meets and invitationals for bedford. if anything stops bedfords dominance, it will b its lack of fhrowers

You both are right. It will be Bedford's weekness but the girl's team has some excellent throwers this year so I don't think it will even phase them. Bedford girls should be good in just about everything this year. They definately will be hard to beat.

watch out for McConnellsburg this yr they'll be tough. Bedford will prolly end up winning districts again especially with the Harris'.

mcconnellsburg does have a pretty solid team, after all..they kept us from winning by TRIPLE digits in districts last year  haha, just joking, but i remember our last dual meet, i believe u got the best of the bisons, if not it was close...i miss seeing Zac fly by everyone, tho im glad hes gone, he was a heluva runner

i think Central Cambria will be the top team in the LHAC this year, in a dual meet with westy and bedford they swept both teams, where as westy beat just bedford. at the conference meet in central cambria however, CC took first place with bedford coming in a distant 2nd, and westy a few (10+) points behind them.

I think bedford will be hard to beat this year....The boys didn't lose anyone they still have the 2 harris boys and Marshall... and they added another one up there too!! So we should have a really good boys team..Im not sure about the girls....we will just have to wait to see what happens!

didnt lose anyone? we lost one of the best all around runners, eric shedlock, not too mention our horses in the throws, houseworth, lambert, and gadley, bedford lost quite a few meets on the track but won the whole meet because of what we could do in the throws. the throwers were without a doubt the backbone of the '03 team
