i agree the only way we're gonna be as good as we were last year is if some of those big boys step it up in the throws

like bill dibert, and bull
The Flyers are just like the Titanic. They both look good until they hit the ice

i forgot bout dave and manherz, but they were also a big asset to the team, dave not only for his running, but was also a good jumper. and manherz had quite a few points in the 100, 200, 4X100, and i think he did the 4X400 and open 400 a few times as well

Yeah, remember John Marshall gave him (Manherz) a run for his money last year in the 200 at districts.. Marshall beat him by like a 100th of a second or so.

yes bedford probaly is the number 1 team in the district and they should be because if they were not that would be down right pathetic. For a school that graduates 200+ students a year to beaten by a school that graduates 60-80 kids a year, would be terrible. So if Bedford was to be beaten. I would just have to laugh...

200+ students a year... where'd you get those facts, stat boy? Bedford barely graduates 150 a year and at times they are well below that number.

You obviously have NO IDEA what you are talking about, Track Stat Hesse. Bedford's senior class of '04 this year is graduating 130 students. The class above us is 150 at the most. To my memory, we have never ever graduated 200+ students. Get your facts right before you state them on here. Chestnut Ridge is just as big as us, I wouldn't doubt if Everett is up there too.

Bedford is always a strong team all around. NB, I hope, should be able to prove themselves with the girls. We should have good sprinters and jumpers...Distance doesn't look to bad, there are a few new girls who can really help define the team...

I don't think having more students in a school matters that much. It basically just separates A, AA, AAA, and AAAA. Look at some of the area wrestling teams.. North Star, Hyndman and Berlin are all smaller than Bedford, Ridge, and Everett.. and they are still better.
