cannot be certain of the original colours of Newton Heath (LYR), there are a number of photographs dating from the 1880s and 1890s showing the team wearing what appears to be gold and green halved shirts

someone did their research! newton heath is correct and it was formed by the L/Y rail workers with the original colors of yellow and green

Has his wife name Victoria in indian script on his arm . But I think that is on his left arm I dont remember seeing any on his right arm
