Johnstown boys beat Central 48-46 on Wednesday which seemed to be a pretty good game with Trojans pulling it out at the end.

Northern Bedford Taking on Southern Fulton Friday night. Aww Geez, last time these teams met it was a one point game which decided the District 5 champion. Afraid it may not be that close this time round.

Tussey's loss was a surprise, but trust me we're not as bad as everyone thinks. We've started out slow but will only get better and our depth is fine. Sure zimmerman would've made a difference but he learned from his mistake and we played hard without him we just made too many mistakes at crucial times. We deserve to have lost two games already with the amount of turnovers we've had. We lost two already but don't get used to it, we'll be back to old form starting friday night.[/quote]

i played during the game for central. i fouled a central player and the ball was bouncing and out of frustration he kicked it in the stands. the ref then gave him a technical. zimmerman got in the refs face and acted like he was giving the ref a technical. of course the ref gave him a second technical and threw him out of the game then zimmerman waved in the refs face and walked off the court. would u agree this is what happened tmhoops?

yea, thats exactly what happened. as his teamate and friend i will tell you he was totally out of line, but i'm sure he has learned his lesson and realizes we need him to help us win.

Zim made a stupid decison. He's paid for it already. We had a really close game with McConnelsburg without him. If he was there with us we probally would have won that game. He knows that he is an important piece of our team, and so do alot of other people. Yeah, central beat us. They played better that night. I think we would beat them if we played them again, but we aren't gonna. Anyone who thinks how we played against McConnelsburg is how we will be all season is very wrong. We didnt have our best guard and one of our team leaders, and the rest of us just didnt get the job done. When we have our whole team on the floor and healthy we can play and beat any team around.

Sorry to say, but losing by 20 points isn't a close game, or in any way a good game.. You TM people can say all you want that you would beat central if you matched up again.. But i'd say that they could beat u 19 out of 20 times..

yea i'd have to say central would beat tussey everytime just because tussey only has 2 scorers. so all you do is limit their points and your fine. they play good defense but after the top 6 players or so they're not even good on defense.
