We are almost halfway through the baseball season for most teams. What teams do u think will come out on top? Here are the current standings according to BM's website:
CON OVRL
FOREST HILLS (5-1) 6-1 good all around team top contender all year
MCCORT (4-1) 4-1 hasn't played the best teams yet look for them to drop
BEDFORD (4-2) 5-2 coming on strong after 2 early losses
CENTRAL (4-2) 5-2 has the bats needs better D to stay at the top
SOMERSET (2-1) 2-1 should move up once they start playing some games
RICHLAND (2-1) 2-1 a little weaker than expected with a couple guys not playing
CENT. CAMBRIA (3-3) 3-3 up and down beat CEN and RICH but lost to CH and JTOWN
CAMBRIA HEIGHTS (3-4) 3-4 when Vescovi is on the mound their tough to beat ask FH
WESTMONT (2-4) 2-4 not doing terrible but will stay mid-bottom
CARROLL (2-4) 2-4 one good pitcher (Lassak) but after that a below average team
JOHNSTOWN (1-3) 2-5 doing alot worse than expected got mercied 2 or 3 times
PENN CAMBRIA (0-6) 0-6 by far the worst team in the league no bats or pitching

Bedford pounded Richland 15-2 today. Not sure who did what for each team. I wasn't in attendance, just got an update after it was over. Bedford dropped a big game vs. FH 12-2 Saturday though. Bedford's seniors are 0-6 vs. FH the last 3 years in baseball. they are 1-7 in their last 8 with the last win coming early 2004.

Bedford stands at 6-3 right now. Johnstown on Wednesday and @ Somerset Thursday.
