it wasn't on tv so for all you football fans that werent a part of the 30,000 fans there.......

first off the Panthers won 27-3

skill positions looked great LaRod and Shady both can score every time they touch the ball 67 and 68 yards respectively
Pestano and Turner made up for the loss of Kinder
Strong and co. with the TE's were great
O-Line....couldn'y push back the EMU d-line BIG concerns in my opinion
and the moment you have all been waiting for .......Bill Stull will not be wasting our season....He came out 7-7 and made the right descions was even crafty enough to use some Palkoness and flip a ball to LaRod....in my opinion he is a right handed Tyler Palko hopefully the thumb isnt too bad

Defensively....you held then to 3 points under 200 yards of total offense what more do you want....the DLine is bigger and better McKillop was flying to the ball and the open field tackling was awesome and on Punt returns TJ Porter was a block away from taking it in so no problems there

Improvments for next week:RUN BLOCKING
maybe try to get more then 30,000 people there as well i give credit to the students cause they were there in full force

up next:Grambling State.....can't wait to see the band!!!!!

Now....didn't watch any other games but....i heard the price for the PSU-ND game next week went down a bit

Irish used all 3 QB's and didnt even rush for a yard.....they are in trouble

Nits-no problem with the worst rated team in the FBS(D1)

WVU-Slaton had 4 TD's enough said there

my call Lions upset the Irish 56-14

My two cents on this week:

Pitt didn't look impressive in their win against Eastern Michigan. Stull and McCoy didn't look too bad. Wannstedt hopes Grambling pulls an Appalachian State on the Panthers next week.

Penn State needs to pick up their running game, settle on a runningback. Morelli threw the ball well and the defense looked good, even though they played FIU.

Crimson, you know as well as I do that Penn State beating Notre Dame wont be an upset. Maybe in the eyes of Lou Holtz and company, it will, but everyone else wouldn't call that an upset. Don't worry if the price went down in the game's tickets next week, Beaver Stadium will be packed as usual Saturday afternoon.

Any thoughts on the Michigan-Appalachian State upset?

Like I said in my top 25, UM is the most overrated and underachieving program in the nation year in and year out.
