LHAC Week 4 Outlook

Week Four is upon us...Will another unbeaten fall???

Bishop McCort at Bishop Carroll
Just think...a few years ago many of us thought that McCort wouldn't ever beat Sponsky's Huskies...
Now we wonder if B.C. will ever win again? Things change...well, except for McCort remaining unbeaten.
Also of Note...Defrances goes into this game on a consecuatives passes completed streak...looks like another possible 11-11 night...anybody know where to find if there is a record for this?
Crushers 46 Huskies 6

Forest Hills at Bishop Guilfoyle
The real question is...did Travis Rearick really graduate...or is he wearing a mask under that helmet? Man, this Glessner kid can play, and so can Tyler Rosenberger.
The Rangers continue to get better...Bad news for B.G.
Rangers by 13

Da Heights @ Central "Pain Train" Cambria
Uh O...the Devils are for real in 07...Look out for Adam Petrosky...the more touches this kid gets the better CC will play as CC notches another one in the "W" column.
Central Cambria 46 Cambria Heights 0

Penn Cambria at Bedford
Who woulda of thunk it? These teams have a combined record of 1-5...But the OG saw some promise in the Bison last week in Sidman. Penn Cambria needs to figure out how to get some balance in their offense, you have to be able to run the football in the LHAC! Bedford wins one for the Swaimy!
Bison 13 P.C. 12

Westmont @ Somerset
I like this Westmont team...as they (and Central Cambria) were my LHAC sleepers this year. However, the Hilltoppers need to stop putting the ball on the turf or it's going to cost them.

Somerset played McCort tough, they played FH tough, it sounds to the OG like Coach Costea's squad is finally going to get that program building win that they've been waiting for
Somerset 22 Westmont 21

Richland @ Johnstown
Richland survived a scare last week, as the Rams had a major case of the dropsies (9 reported dropped passes). Expect the Rams to come out focused this week, with a heavy doses of Ryan Krouse in a 2 touchdown victory over the Trojans.

The stage will be set for a week 5 showdown at the Point featuring the areas best two QB's...but that's next week

This week has the Rams 27 - Johnstown 16

Good Luck to all teams

I failed to make my week 3 predictions so i must redeem myself here.....

Crushers vs. Huskies
In the battle of ths Bishops I am expecting DeFrances to play well for the second straight week and the RED HOT Eric Lowry to put up some more huge offensive numbers BC's got a ot of work to do......BM 42 BC 6

Maruaders vs. Rangers
Glessner hit Rosenberger 3 times for scores and he puts up 300 yards Havent heard much from the running game lately?BG beat Heights no problems there but will get back on the losing path....
FH 31 BG 12

Highlanders vs. Red Devils
No contest here....Central Cambria is looking pretty good recently
CC 45 CH 7

Panthers vs. Bisons
wow the mighty have fallen.....Im gonna say Penn Cambria gets back on their feet this week...but it will be close
PC 21 B 17

UPSET ALERT Richland might be thinking highly of themselves with their 3-0 record but you just don't walk into Trojan Stadium and walk out with a win i say Richland has the ability to throw the ball but Antwaun Reed explodes for a big game and Johnstown prevails.....Jtown 24 RLand 21

Game of the Week....Somerset is a lot better then their record indicates....They have expierence and they have size im liking Somerset to play Westmont tough and beats the Hilltoppers in a close one 28-27

Bishop McCort at Bishop Carroll
No contest here, eventhough BC has beaten BM in the past when BM was the "better" team, this year will look very similar to last year...
BM in a rout - 42-6

Forest Hills at Bishop Guilfoyle
Another "no contest", the trip up and back for FH will take longer than the actual game...
FH in blowout 35-7

Cambria Heights @ Central Cambria
CC's running will be too much for the highlanders...look for the highlanders to force the devils to air it out...still wont be enough
CC 28- CH 14

Penn Cambria at Bedford
Should be closer than some of the other predictions....although bedford is 0-3, they are the "best 0-3 team in the state"-Joe Arcurio quote from a few years ago...i still take PC over Bedford 35-21

Westmont @ Somerset
Im taking somerset in this one! Somerset really showed me some guts in the mccort game, i think their rushing attack will be too much for the hilltoppers, and judging by the jhs-westy game..westy has some serious offensive issues..
i take the eagles in a "defensive game" 14-7

Richland @ Johnstown
GOTW!
I think this will be a high scoring affair...even tho the trojans held westmont to 6 pts most of the game...
Richland in the win-42-41(blown 2pt conversion by the trojans)

I heard Westmont has a new kid they just picked up out of West Virginia. He runs a 4.3 and is 5'11", as a quarterback! Apparently he has great QB vision and can throw great across the field. Apparently he wears the #11. I don't expect him to play in the next few upcoming games, but you never know with Westmont.
