Reading the Football Forum has been a bit dull as of late. So, I'm going to throw some things out there and see if we can get some responces.

1. Pitt v. Navy - Should Wannestadt fire his "O" Coordinator? Should Wanny be asked to step down?

2. PSU - what in the world is going on at "Happy Valley?" Is a Campus cleanup the next move?

3. Nebraska's AD (Pederson) - Glad they fired him...for what he did to Frank Solich after a 9-3 season.

4. Should Solich replace Wannestadt?

5. High School BUSTS - after alot of high expectations which schools aren't panning out? My choices..........Westmont...........Penn Cambria.

6. High School High Flyers - surprises.......Somerset.........BG.............Richland.

7. High School Coaching Changes- rumblings on the Hilltop that this is it for McClaren. Isn't he one of the people that helped get rid of Skowron??

8. Matchup down the road......Indy v. New England........any thoughts??

I would love to see Solich take over for Wannstadt. I never liked his hiring from the very beginning and Cavanaugh was not a very good O-coordinator in the NFL either.

Richland has been playing some very good football this year. I can't wait to watch them play CC this week, I think that is going to be one heckuva game. Not sure what his name is, I think it's #33 for CC, but man he is a force on the D-line. He really impressed me in the 2 or 3 games I've seen him play.

Now that Tom Osborne is the AD at Nebraska, Solich may be headed back to the great plains.

This has been about the best LHAC season I can remember. It seems like everyone is capable of beating anyone.

The Pats at Indy will undoubtedly be one of their toughest tests. The other is when they play the Steelers on a short week, after playing at Baltimore on Monday night. Two tough, physical teams back-to-back may actually be more difficult, but they don't really appear to have any weaknesses.

How many people gave Pittsburgh a chance the year they went to the superbowl? This is pretty much the same team as it was then, anyone thats gone has been replaced by equal talent. I think they can beat the Pats, even at Foxboro....should be a great season...

I think the defensive coord should be fired. It looks like dist 5/6 AA playoffs are wide open. ANy one of 4 or 5 teams could win this thing. I think BG has to be the favorite in DIst 6 A playoffs. WHo does Richland have the next 2 weeks?

Richland takes on Central Cambria, then Bedford, and they end with Cambria Heights.
