He was a Red Sox during the World Series run last but I am not sure if he will be back or not. Of the 81 mentioned, 12 of them had ties with the Bucco's.

The main sources for the report were from the Mets and Yankees. I think it was Clemens' trainer that turned him (as well as Pettite and others) into Mitchell. I would guess that if a trainer from every team had an informant there the users would have been equally distributed. I suppose it doesn't look good to Yankee fans that Mitchell has ties to the Red Sox. 80+ players is likely way below the actual number of users.

The funny thing is ; Colin Cowherd was talking about this the other day. Clemens was turned onto the trainer who injected him in 1995(still with the Sox) by Conseco, who played the '95 and '96 seasons with Boston. His arm was shot prior to the 1996 season, his inning counts went from 250, 270, etc. down to 201, 170, and 148 prior to 1996. Hooks up with Conseco and in 1996(last year with the Sox) he's rejuvinated and goes for 241 innings that year and gets a huge contract with Toronto. Where this trainer also happened to work, guess who else signed with the Blue Jays that year.....Yep, Jose. MLB has admitted already that over 7% of major leaguers have already tested positive, those 20 names are just the tip of the iceberg. There is also a large amount of players who have used HGH(not a steroid) to help rehab injuries. While that seems less aggregious, it is and has been a banned substance and just as a big a no-no. Just a thought to throw out there.
