Hello internet community! For those of you who dont know me, I'm DeBiceps, known throughought West/Central PA for superior college football knowledge and upper arm development. I took about 2 years off the site to do things like graduate and concentrate on becoming awesomer, and since both of those have been fufilled i'm back to fufil my list of obligations:
1. Argue with Karnac about Pitt/PSU
2. Agree with The Ancient Enemy about a whole bunch of topics
3. Make College Picks against my Mortal Enemy, TAE
4. Bring back The Toof N Nail Show
5. Write my college football preview/wrap up posts
6. Bash players who are seriuosly pretty good but I dislike for some very uncredible reason
7. Give NFL Draft Previews/Analysis
8. Consume at least 3 gallons of water per day
9. Begin a new thread of posts where i will pick games against the spread
10. Take a few naps per day
My daily/weekly post will be called You'll Thank Me In the Morning, because even though neither me or this site condon gambling, my spread picks will be spot on (or incredibly off)

Welcome back.
Lets put that superior knowledge to the test.Al Golden pulled his name from consideration at UCLA to stay at Temple. This can only mean one thing; the end is near for Joepa and Al thinks he has a pretty good shot. I myself would love to see Schiano............wow, who'd have ever thunk that? PSU Nitwits longing for the coaches from Temple and Rutgers to lead them back to prominence. What do you think?

Gotta be Shiano. Shiano had experience on the Miami staff and could have easily wooed talent there, being that he was part of the program and his track record as a head coach turning Rutgers into a pretty credible program. He says no, speculation about him waiting on JoePa to leave began. Enter Michigan, easily one of the top 3 jobs in the country. You get to recruit the entire nation, and you are basically a win over Ohio State away from a BCS bid every year. Once again, nothing. I've never been there, but I'm gonna say New Jersey isnt that great.
Shiano as Penn State's coach would be the best thing that could happen to that program, being that New York/New Jersey talent was swiped by the Lions for years, which has and will continue to take a hit so long as Shiano is the head man at Rutgers. A move to happy valley also reopens that pipeline. Because of the Big East experience and recent wins over Pitt, Shiano also would have crediblility in trying to bring in Pittsburgh players. Most importantly, if boosters and alum are still stuck on running the ball, look no further than he with the knight's helmet on.
Problems with the Shiano hire? Bradley would almost have to leave, being that he's been whispered as JoePas successor (ala Sandusky around 1999. "a few more years" turned into about a dozen). I wouldnt be suprised to see him end up as the head man at Pitt someday, unless the panthers are totally committed to the M(ediocre)ustache.
Personally, I'd sacrifice Bradley for Shiano, being that PSU defense was supposed to die after Sandusky's departure, and that never happend. The Linebacker U stigma hasnt left, and the tradition will continue to intregue and hopefully lure talent on the defenseive side of the ball.
As for the Temple man, I know that winning more than two times in aseason there makes you a genious, but I'm not totally sold. If the trend continues as it did with Shiano over several years, I may reconsider. I love Joe as much as my immediate family, but for the sake of the program I hope he's not there long enough to see if Golden can sustain and further improve the Temple program.
