Just Saying...
The OG was patient, he told fellow BC posters to be patient...that it would pass.
McCort loses.
The sad part is it doesn't seem like there are many teams that are going to be able to take advantage of this "down" year for McCort. I'd be willing to bet there will at least be one more team that will though...

Re: Just Saying...
this mccort team truly is at a crossroads as an alumni i obviously hope the right the ship and win out, even though i highly doubt that'll happen, but if look at their schedule cc and bc wont be easy games nor will richland, jtown and fh will be really tough games. in the end i think they'll right the ship and end up 6-3 or 7-2 but thats because regardless what people say about him and his staff salem and his men can coach, even though im sure there'll be people who will say its only because they recruit

They can coach, no doubt about it. They'll finish 6-3 or better likely as well, simply because there aren't many real good teams this year.jack daniel wrote:his staff salem and his men can coach, even though im sure there'll be people who will say its only because they recruit
What irks me though is when a "coach" can take a kid in with open arms to play football for him when he TRANSFERS INTO THEIR SCHOOL, then completely turn his back on a kid after he is done playing football for him, and the kid can't even finish his Senior year.
What compassion. What a coach. What a guy.

Re: Just Saying...
well for most schools 6-3 isn't too shabby a season but for crimson crushers its considered a long season, says alot about the programCrimson09Crazy wrote:As a very proud McCort Alum, We're in for a loooong season. Not expecting much more then 6-3

Am I sensing a little frustration here?
Re: Just Saying...
I knew it would come out in the paper that, "The Crushers are young, having just one starter returning on offense and two on defense from last year's PIAA Class A runner-up". Tell me, last year when they were beating the **** out of everyone during the regular season, how come alot of this years kids didn't get the playing time necessary to make the transition from second-stringer to starter? Even in last weeks Tribune football edition, Salem was quoted as saying about this year's team, "We also had (concerning last year) an extra half season to practice. Playing all the way to Christmas gave some of our younger guys extra reps and experience that we hope translates into game experience this year". Really??? Tell me, how much did the BM second stringers practice once the started the playoffs? In fact, how much did the second-stringers play all last year??? How many times last year were the BM starters still playing late in the game during blowouts. Believe me, BM should have had MORE than 11 returning letterman on this years team after what happened last year. I don't think the BM coaching staff handled their younger guys very well last year, and it's showing now.

moldo
last year back ups would start going into games in mid-3rd quarter if not sooner, there were some games back ups were in in the first half. get your facts straight.
