PIAA State Finals--Again loaded with PRIVATE SCHOOLS!

Just further evidence that:pats39 wrote: what is your take on the ratio of catholic schools winning A and AA basketball vs the total of catholic schools in the state
:shock:vman wrote:Catholic kids are better Basketball players than Public School kids!
I have to say thank you to me ..." for not being stupid enough to go to Penn State."
Re: PIAA State Finals--Again loaded with PRIVATE SCHOOLS!
Why don't the McCort's and BG's of the world work harder, get better, and raise the stakes for a higher (AA or more) prize..Crushers, Go get Lancaster Catholic in football...
Villa Maria, York Catholic, Archbishop Wood were all at the BJC March 26th and 27th...Lady Marauders, get good enough to go after the likes of those during your March run to greatness.

Like I said before, I think there should be two PIAA divisions in each classification -- a competitive division for the privates, and the few publics that want to revert to doing what it takes to compete (fat chance there) ......and another division that we will call the intramural division for the 95% of public schools that want to go through the motions, beat up their coaches, beg the kids for committment, hold "events", etc --- a "for fun" division where the sport is really not treated or viewed as a sport but as a "social activity" as is the case in the vast majority of public (and some privates too) today.
Then the PIAA can award trophys to everyone in the intramural division so they dont feel bad about themselves -- but only after completion of and attendance at the mandatory "Bullying Session".
Pats, oldguy, say oww.......... where can i send your trophy.

V-man, I love it!
Psycho's friend - quit bragging that you beat the privates. You weren't playing for Ferndale, were you? No, you were playing for Johnstown when it was one of the biggest schools in the state. Just one question - did you shoot free throws granny style???

Hey psycho, I don't need a trophy. It just made my day to see that someone posted that they were your friend.
Actually your two division system would be perfect. Division I would be all of the private schools and all of the AAAA and AAA public schools. Division II would be all of the AA and A public schools. In fact we should extend this to all sports. Isn't democracy great?

Not bragging. What I was trying to get across was that yes it was JHS. And yes if you look at the schools I mention they were all bigger than JHS. The privates I was referring to were the Erie Preps, Arch Bishop Carroll out of Washington DC., and Dematha Catholic. Those are not your typical privates that you refer to on this thread. I will still stand by hard work, competive schedules and no excuses will eliminate the woe is me public school stuff.
Granny style free throws, no I let that to the Rick Berrys of this world. I thinks he was over 90% effective. Not to bad.

How about we just eliminate Single A schools all together? go to 3 classes. merge all the "A" schools together. then all the smallest schools in the state would be catholic, and playing in the A division with all public schools that are bigger then the catholic schools. Thats what you want isnt it? Butttttt no since im a catholic school supporter you guys have to think of some complete illogical solution or statement completely opposing anything i say. SO we can drop the argument now. Cause in my eyes i already feel as though i won this entire argument last week with usatf oldguy. And im sure he feels the same way. Its never ending.
Re: PIAA State Finals--Again loaded with PRIVATE SCHOOLS!
Just like in your eyes, it is actually an accomplishment for McCort to win against A competition, Ha.
Re: PIAA State Finals--Again loaded with PRIVATE SCHOOLS!
What ever happened to the "taking the moral high road" like McCort supposedly did a few years ago when they played AA when they were actually A?

Psycho first lets deal with you,you should run for office somewhere as generally people who are clueless win elections. Then you can promote your poorly concieved theory on consolidation! Vman, huh what can I say other than bring up one valid point if you are capable.Crimson heres an idea just set things back to the way they were in 1972 when the privates were in there own division. You know I honestly am amazed at how stupid people can be.When someone shows the championship stats and publics are basically shut out.How can you argue the system is off.I guess some on here want to set the bar really high for stupidity!
