College Gameday?

Post by Crimson09Crazy »

Aren't they supposed to pick a good game each week? I mean Penn State and Alabama, the overall talent differential is like Youngstown playing in Happy Valley. Its a little ridiculous.

Let's hear it.....Prediction for the Alabama and State Penn score?

And Penn State fans, funny how one little victory over Portage's JV team makes you confident again.

Hey, even if PSU gets slaughtered, they can still vie for the National Championship. I mean, it happened in 1982, right?

In case you haven't noticed, we've been talking about this game well before Saturday at 3 pm. There is no way Penn State wins next week, but I'd expect PSU to be in the game more than what most people think. Their defense has to show up and give the PSU offense an opportunity to stick with what it wants to do. I do expect PSU to run about 75% of the time Saturday, not wanting Bolden to get rattled in his 2nd career game on the road at the defending national champions house after only being with the football program for less than 40 days, so the running game must get going vs. a defense that has 10 of 11 new players and one of their best defensive linemen out due to suspension.

Who are you to decide where GameDay goes? Why wouldn't it go to 'Bama PSU? Would you rather they go to the Pitt New Hampshire game? When you have two clubs that have over or near 800 all time wins and a legendary coach facing a returning national championship squad, that's history, brah. And that place will be crazy Saturday night.

Alabama is favored by 11.5. I'm a little surprised. I thought it'd be closer to 14, but then again, 'Bama will be missing their Heisman Trophy winner.

Here is some history for ya hambra or shall I say manbra!

In head to head matchups between the 2 legends...

Joepa-- 0 (zero, goose egg, nada)
Paul "Bear" Bryant-- 4

I see now why he wanted to stick around so long to get that win record since he couldn't beat him on the field!

Alabama 6 PSU 4...Wait, that was the score of the Iowa game a few years back...If PU can keep it within 2pts, Jaypa gets coach of the year

College gameday has people making decisions based on where they feel will get the most viewership. It looks like Pitt New Hampshire didn't make the cut. Pitt vs. Rutgers or Pitt vs. Uconn won't either. Sorry

My tv show would be in Columbus or Norman this weekend. But hey ESPN can do what they want.

I'd think Miami and Ohio State would draw fans, at least 2 teams have a chance to win the game same thing with Oklahoma and Florida State.

Penn State...not so much

Haha sorry? Well they won't pick the UConn game cause college gameday isn't on Thursday Nights, They could've picked New Hampshire, because they have a better chance of beating Pitt then Penn State does with Alabama. It would've brought in that solid New England market.
