Re: The Nightmare Continues
Again, it all depends on whose side your own as to whether or not you see something as being biased. The first article basically reiterates that point and the 2nd is what bias looks like from the left.
Mainstream Media - too biased?
Example of left bias

Yes, Peter Jennings, that great American journalist from CANADA who wouldn't even let Toby Keith sing a song on a tv show he didn't agree with. Now there's journalism. I don't agree with you so you can't say it. Seem ironic to anybody else? All in all though, I did enjoy watching him.
On CNN last night I saw a program with Colin Powell's assistant and a CIA agent or two. Don't know if it was a repeat, but it was very interesting. When Powell was going before the UN to make the case for war, he was very skeptical of some of the claims being made. So he sat down with George Tenet for 3-4 days to discuss any misgivings. This is where Tenet made his famous "slam dunk" quote about weapons of mass destruction, mobile labs, etc. They had enough proof to convince Powell. Of course now we know different and Powell and Tenet are gone. Apparently the CIA used only one or two sources and did not verify anything with feet on the ground. What looked like a mobile unit from a satellite was not. They didn't send anyone in to check it out. I hope that our intelligence agencies are getting things straightened out, but I have my doubts. But if anything this report seemed to point the finger at the CIA and not on the administration. During a hearing last year when Tenet was asked by Ted Kennedy if the admin had overstated the case for war, Tenet said they did not. Only 10-20 years from now will we begin to understand fully what happened to get us into this war.
