The Curve pulled of the improbable today. They completed a four road game sweep of the Bowie Baysox to finish second in their division and make the playoffs. This is the third year in a row the Curve have made the playoffs.
This team probably doesn't have enough talent to win the Eastern League playoffs, but they seem to be a team of destiny. This team has lost its top pitcher (Mahlom), team MVP and top offensive threat (Bautista) and run scoring machine (R. Davis) in the last month and still found some way to make it into the playoffs.
That's impressive at any sports level.

I for one was hoping they would not make it to the playoffs, not because I dislike the team or anything, I'm just so dang sick and tired of that commercial with the couple players and all those screaming rugrats!
