Re: WEST VIRGINIA at Syracuse
WVU played very well defensively yesterday against the Cuse.
They are definitely going to surprise some teams this year. WVU's defense was excellent, better than I expected. They will struggle on offense, and so will Cuse, but WVU has a very favorable home schedule that should serve them well.

Their defense did do well to score 8 points on defense (since the extra point is a special teams thing) and hold Syracuse to only 7 points. The defense alone did enough to beat Syracuse without the two field goals that the offense helped generate. So that's a good sign for WVU early on. However, their defense will have to go up against Louisville's tough offense later in the season, and though it will be at Morgantown, that's one I don't see the Mountaineers winning. But we'll see when that time comes.
