Would Pitt or WVU win against Northern Illinois or Iowa State? Would they have an easy game against Akron? Or are Pitt and WVU pushovers?

Hypothetical question? Calls for conjecture on the part of the witness. Objection sustained.

There's a strictly college football board that I frequent, and a genius over there is touting WVU pretty good. I guess he didn't see the same Syracuse game that I did. If you cannot score an offensive TD against a piss-poor depth chart and a 1st year coordinator, what does that tell you? Yes, WVU had the ball in the redzone a few times and choked. Having the ball in the redzone and choking is not necessarily a sign of a national championship. I saw a WVU team that looked weaker than usual in all aspects of the game. But they sure put a whipping on Wofford.

Iowa State I think would beat Pitt and probably WVU as well. They are not the typical ISU teams we have seen recently. I dunno how it happened, because Dan McCarney is an idiot since way back, but that team has the will to win games now. Akron and NIU are worse than they usually are, which isn't saying a whole lot. Pitt and WVU could beat them.
