Eight thousand five hundred fifty five
Re: Eight thousand five hundred fifty five
What exactly does the last 4 games mean? If the Pirates finish the season with a 4 game winning streak, and St. Louis goes 0-4 in the World Series, does that mean the Pirates are better? Please, at least, give examples which mean something substantial.

For the record, PSU has 19 players in the National Football Foundation and College Football Hall of Fame. Pitt on the other hand has 21.
Pitt's most recent inductee is the brilliant and unbiased football mind that is Mark May ('05), while PSU's is Lydell Mitchell, who was enshrined this past summer.
JoePa is a lock but will only be inducted 2 years after he either retires or dies -- which ever comes first.
More recently, PSU has 9 enshrinees who either played or coached since 1960. Pitt has 8.
As for the source of this information - I worked in the archives department at the Hall of Fame this summer. FYI, Joe Kapp is the funniest guy you'll ever meet.
You're all welcome for this info.

Did you know... that the College Football Hall of Fame recognizes Pitt as having won THREE national championships?
