He was the 2nd to speak, Moldo, Cory Arnold(and yes, he's my brother). The first was QB Kyler Ford.

The coaching staff did exactly what they needed to do to win the game, Swaim and the men at the helm turned things around and did what they needed to do to take this team, full of talent, and get them headed in the right direction.

Defense stepped up big tonight. The line held its own for a change. Piglet (little Ham) had a great game, you deserve to be proud. You're right, Hickey showed a lot of guts playing on the bad ankle. The new MLB (#23 I think) stepped up big too. Kensinger/Beegle had a big first half.

Offense seemed hit and miss to me. You're absolutely correct - the OL made huge improvements tonight. Dives up the gut were usually stuffed, but set up Marshall on some neat counters for yardage. #3 had an outstanding game carrying and receiving - if he learns how to block, Marshall and Harris will rack up some major yardage.

FH shot themselves in the foot with turnovers, but Bedford didn't capitalize on that as well as they could have. Some unconventional referee calls on Bedford helped ameliorate the turnovers by FH.

Thanks. And just curious, what were those "unconventional" referee calls that "ameliorated" the FH turnovers?

Bedord fans- I commend your guys for playing a hell of a game. You obviously came prepared and we didn't. This was not the same 2 teams from Bedford's loss to Westy, and FH who totally destroyed Westy. It confirmed my suspicions about the Rangers. They look more like a team that will end up 5-4 instead of 8-1. Can they correct their mistakes? I would like to think Don will. Reflecting, on our 1st drive, we were in 4 down territory when Bedford stopped us and we turned it over on downs. Then Bedford took it all the way for a score. 7-0. Then we were driving again, when a clean, hard hit I think by Ford, caused a turnover. Later, after Bedford missed either 1 or 2 FG attempts, we were driving again, and a fumble by the other TB gave Bedford the ball again. We were our own worst enemy. It happens. I sincerely hope Bedford runs the table now against the LHAC, and FH can suck it up for their rest of games.

Exactly, where was this team the first two weeks of the season? It's better late than never though. Hopefully they decide to stick around for the next at least 9 weeks.

In my preview of this game I had commented that a team in 2003 came in to this game at 0-2, then ran the table and made a good run in the play-offs. Lets see how this game will play into Bedfords hands now.

And yes, it was those Forest Hills Rangers in 2003.

Moldo:

The oddest call, to me anyway, was on a punt by Forest Hills. Feaster signaled a fair catch, caught the ball, and was hit (lightly) by a Forest Hills player. Penalty flag thrown, but the call was on Feaster for not signalling properly.

Boilerman, I think Ham is referring to the 2002 team that had Chad Shoemaker at the helm for the Bisons. I know they won their first round game over Marion Center, I think, then lost to Bishop McCort in round two.

Have been out of the area for a while, and hard to keep track of things.
