They beat Indiana (who whipped UK last night)
Michigan State (who beat ND)
South Florida (2-1 and a BE team)
Cincy and Central Michigan. (CMU beat Miami of Ohio a week ago...and they are a top tier MAC team)
No these teams aren't good, I know that...BUT PSU is 5 for their last 5!

LOL. And two of them are the BIG LEAST!!!! Whooooo! Will Pitt be able to handle the incredibly tough (at least for them) teams of Cincinnati and South Florida? GO UC! GO USF! Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha! I predict that Pitt loses to at least one, if not both, of those teams! Whooo!

The Michigan State victory was last year. It was a totally different team than the MSU team of this year. Michigan State is loaded with talent this year. Can't disagree with you about being 5 for their last 5, Coach. However, let's see if they go 5 for their next 5. Then, I'll agree that PSU is for real. Even 2 of their next 5 would be good for PSU. Since their standards are that low, nowadays.

With 8 games left, PSU will probably be the underdog in 6 of them? Starting to sweat yet?

When's the last time Penn State scheduled a I-AA team?
Funny how they are "so terrible" over these past years and still haven't resorted to playing teams that aren't even real. I still think WVU invented "Wofford" and UCONN paid a bunch of streetbums to dress as "Liberty".

But they did schedule South Florida a couple of years ago when they were making the transition from I-aa to I-a.

Better go back and look at those USF teams. If it's true that schedules are made 3 years in advance, USF was already an up and comer. Last year's USF team was a step back. Cincinnati, then, had just come off a bowl appearance.

In 2000, USF was not allowed to play in the Div i-aa playoffs because they were in transition to become I-a. They were given More scholarships than a I-aa team that year, but NOT as many as a I-A team. Then in '01 they finally were given 85 scholarships. They were scheduled by PSU right before that. Joe knew what he was doing.
