What I meant El-Moldo is if you take eight years they will play them six times. Which if you break that down that turns into 3 out of every 4 years genius.

So if you play someone 25 seasons out of 100 years, you're playing them every 4 years? I get it.

You didn't answer me about playing Michigan State every year because it is SUCH a rivalry. Is there math involved in that too?

Like I said... it is all about money, my friend. 15 years from now they will still be battling over the Land Grant. The people of the future will be just as clueless about the "Land Grant" as we are right now. What the hell is it? Where did it come from? It was a generated rivalry to sell tickets and make money. And 15 years from now, it'll just be accepted that it is a rivalry, no questions asked. What it does is generates interest. Interest equals ratings and money. It's the same principle as the top 25 rankings. Drifting through the channels and seeing #14 vs. #18 is a lot more appealing than just "Stanford vs. Syracuse". You catch my drift? It's all about that dollar, Ese.

I agree with, TAE. Everything is about the money. All these teams schedule their rivals to bring in the almighty dollar. All I know is, it's sad that I'm looking forward to the Pitt vs. Youngstown State game since I feel they might actually win this one.

Honestly speaking, Youngstown State is 3-0 with 3 blowout wins. They are pretty good. Hopefully Pitt can win this game, but expect YSU to be looking for supper since they smell blood in the water.

I totally agree. Any team playing Pitt right now has a lot of confidence. Whereas Pitt has none. So, they better come out and play this week, or they'll find themselves as an even bigger joke in college football. This game is actually a big one for Pitt. Who would've ever thought that?

I never would have thought it either, really. But if Pitt loses this game, they're done for the season with 7 games left. Because of they can't beat YSU, who can they beat? I'm not sure if I should cheer for YSU just to make sure that the Pitt fans stay quiet, or for Pitt out of pity for their fans (especially my former manager who is now at another store and is undoubtedly unhappy with the Panther's football program).
