Heritage Predictions Week 4

Post by TBone »

Picking this week is very tough. 4 of the 5 games can go either way so here goes:

Penns Manor @ Purchase Line (the easy one) PL has too much - good defense and improving offense. PL 30 PM 6

Blairsville @ United I believe that Blairsville's defense is suspect. Bet your life that United will line up in an unbalanced line and pound the ball until Blairsville stops them. I am not sure that they can. United moving the ball will mean a lower scoring game for the Bobcats. With their skill and passing game they will win a close one. BL 21 UN 14

Ligonier @ Homer Center Two teams searching for offense. HC is playing good defense and Lig is coming off a big win. Lig 14 HC 13

Laural Valley @ Marion Center This may be the best game. Marion Center can move the ball and has been throwing more lately to compliment their running game. LV is playing pretty good defense and is consistant on offense. Tough to pick but I'll take LV 20 MC 14

Northern Cambria @ Saltsburg Take away 5 minutes of the SA/LV game and it is a battle to the last minute. SA is missing their inside LB but may be getting two starters back. Look for Saltsburg to prevail 21 - 14

With 3 games out of the way now. How does everyone think Saturday will shape. I think LV will go up on the hill and defeat Marion Center in what should be a good game, but the best game in the conference will obviously be in Armagh at 1 PM would love to see a United victory should be a great game.

LV 28 MC 13
BVille 21 United 22
