I think this weekend is a day PSU fans have been waiting for since 1999. I feel like a huge event like 9/11 happened that year. Because I can rememer exactly what I was doing when Penn State fell apart and started this disgusting losing trend.

If PSU loses this weekend it is going to be heartbreaking to a lot of Nitter fans.

Something tells me that it's not going to be as heartbreaking as being one of the 3,000 people that got phone calls saying their wife just got blown up in a terrorist attack. But then again, Maroney IS like a jet-liner hijacked by Al-Qaeda.

Look who is 25th in that SI poll the South Flordia Bulls. I recall a win over the Bulls. Maybe Penn State does have a quality win. For those of you that may have forgot USF murdered Louisville.

Sports Illustrated is not a good place to go to see college football rankings. SI is not what it used to be, mainly because of communication and media issues. Fox and ESPN can give you info on a daily, mnute by minute basis. SI comes out once a week. These college football "experts" do things a lot of the time just to generate interest or make bold statements like USF at #25 just to shake things up. They don't really think USF is #25. Remember: the people who write these articles and do these polls are human beings. You and I have just as much access to the information that they have, especially when compiling a top 25. If you yourself sit down and write a top 25 that you feel should be right, it's just as important as Sports Illustrated's top 25. There's plenty of magazines that make bold predictions just to sell paper.
