No, by pricking them at the last minute concerning their official visits.

They still were more than likely able to attend the game for free, though perhaps JoePa didn't have time for them that day (which is why it may not have been an official visit, but an unofficial one). You think a college isn't going to take care of its recruits?

There were still plenty of recruits at Saturday night's game. When they came out, the student section gave them a warm welcome. I'm sure the game turned some of their heads in favor of PSU. The atmosphere alone might have been enough to do it.

Atmosphere doesn't mean anything, 11th Man, just ask Moldo he'll tell you all about it.

The official visits were guys from Florida. None of which were the guys that I have heard the fans talking about on the forums a whole lot.
You can still give out free tickets to come to the game on an unofficial visit. They just don't spend the night with a team member, and they don't get the meeting with Paterno and all that jazz. They come to the game, stand on the sideline, and then they go home. A bigtime lineman...Jared Odrick was very impressed I know. He is announcing in January.
The Nits did fine...the win helped out more than having those 5 official visits there. Now a top 10 team, kids wanting to verbal early have even more of a reason to take a long hard look at the Nits.

bdftbllham55: Here's what you originally said, "Over 100 visits took place yesterday. They cancelled them, all but 2 still went as an unofficial visit". Tell me, in a clear and concise manner, what the hell was that supposed to mean?????? Talk about vague.
