Right.... D.J Shockley clearly sucks because he's a fifth year senior that sat behind David Greene for four years. Since Cody Hodges didn't start until he was a fifth year senior, he sucks too. By the way, those two are currently the QBs at Georgia and Texas Tech, respectively. At major programs like Ohio State, Penn State, and even Pitt, a freshman starter is the EXCEPTION, not the rule.

Lemme tell you, Cody Hodges and D.J. Shockley wasted four years to start for Texas Tech and Georgia. And they obviously suck since they're fifth year seniors. Why don't you do the research and tell me how horribly they're doing, Moldo, since you think QBs that don't start as freshmen suck? Especially since Matt Leinart didn't start until his sophomore year. Even then, he BARELY beat out Matt Cassel for the starting job. Oh, and even though Cassel was never a starter for USC, apparently New England thought he was good enough to draft. Hmm, they must be out of their minds.

Moldo, if you are just talking about Morelli getting snaps, I TOTALLY agree with that. You're making it out like he's a fool. Dude, the kid committed to Pitt! There's 75 quarterbacks PLAYING right now that couldn't beat out Palko! He'd still be on the bench, and he'd be behind Getsy too, if you had your perfect world. Morelli is going to start next year. You need to put the time in if you're a QB, and the guy ahead of you is doing well. There's only 1 that can play!

What I don't get... he'd be on the bench at Pitt behind Palko! What do you want him to do?

You can't add Texas Tech to this. That offense is set up so that kids have 3 years to study the offense, and then they get their shot. That is just how they do things, and it works well. Cumbie didn't even have any offers when he left high school. Hodges fought with Graham Harrell (freshman) for the starting job this year. Next year, it'll be the exception, when a sophomore starts. And there will be no steps backward. I saw Harrell play for Ennis and that kid is a war-machine.

And another thing about Morelli... Palko has another year of eligibility left!
