holy cow...you guys are talking like the grass was at thier knees! the trojans won, so what does it really matter? if ND were to win would you be on here saying the only reason they won was because of the grass?

If the grass slowed up the USC offense, didn't it slow up the ND defense at the same time? Didn't it slow up all those guys chasing Bush? I think it evens out in the long run.

i agree with moldo. cheating would have been to spike the gatorade with a substance that causes severe stomach pains followed by.Squuirt!!!!!
that would be cheating.

There's something nice about Catholic schools who cheat and still can't win games.

Oh gee, TAE, if USC plays on grass, wouldn't they cut it as close as humanly possible to give them an advantage? And if they were in ND's situation, facing a team with far more speed than they did, you honestly don't think that they would 'forget' to cut the grass? It's called home field advantage for a reason. Deal with it.

Short grass and tall grass are different stories. Someone just posted that ND tried to do the same thing to Dorsett.

so i guess it's cheating when you have a team pinned back within their own 10 yard line and you encourage the crowd to get loud so they can't hear too? once again, it's called HOME FIELD ADVANTAGE! get over it...

The crowd is different! We're talking about altering the playing surface. Use your brain. "Get over it".
