maybe CM (Central Martinsburg) could join the ICC (InterCounty Conference) and demand respect after beating the highly touted CR (Chestnut Ridge) team

ICC doesn't stand for Inter County Conference Gunner. It stands for I Can't Compete. Either way, it fits CR (Chestnut Ridge) and Central well.

Overall of course the LHAC is better and has more tougher teams being that most of the LHAC are AA schools. However that weak team from the ICC ummm named Bellwood has a nice record against those Bedford Bisons and most recently back in 2000 or 2001 they beat Bedford at Bedford. Not to shabby for a ICC team.

I don't think Bellwood plays the typical ICC schedule either. Seeing that they are also in the Mountain Athletic Conference and play the likes of Tyrone and Philipsburg.

Just wait until Bedford starts crying for mercy in a couple of years about getting beat up in the LHAC. Minus two socalled cupcake games next year and possibly a third if Richland bails. Who going to fill the void? The rumor I hear is Indiana from the WPIAL. If not I guess the LH will have an open date to start the season.

Bedford has success against everyone in the LHAC its not like there is a team that beats them up every year. I don't really think they will be crying mercy southpaw. If we do though we could always just join the ICC and tell every one how much our program has improved and cry for the respect we think we deserve like another former LHAC team that bailed. Of course then there would be 2 teams in the ICC a certain team couldn't beat! lol

Bedford, Bellwood, Tyrone, Bishop Carroll, Bishop McCort, and Forest Hills all have one thing in common.

They have good football programs. It doesn't really matter what conference you play in if you have a good football program you can compete anywhere (given classification size) year in and year out.

That is something Cheasnut Ridge, Central Martinsburg, and Cambria Heights don't have.

Southpaw, I for one hope Indiana joins the LHAC. I would bet my house that they do not come in and walk away with the title every year. They will be one of the better teams, but they will hardly have any top team in the current conference begging to get out. Don't get bitter just cause your beloved Lions can't hack it.

BTW Ham- I Can't Compete...That is Classic!
And the last thing I must tell you...NEVER QUIT!

southy, Bedford is the only team that plays forest hills annually and has a winning record against them. so until stats like that go down, i dont think we have anything to worry about.

Thanks Opinionguy, all credit should be given to the Stampede as they are the ones that I first heard it from.
