Bellwood @ Ridge
Fan 10,
I agree that it was a tough call to make, I said that previously. I also didn't say I tought Max was a faster runner, I said I thought he was a better runner, not the same thing. I think the fact that Max is 200lbs was one of the reasons he did get the start. He has the ability to break some tackles that I don't think Josh does, and I don't think that he is that much slower.(Please don't take these comments as a rip on Josh, they are in no way intended to be that) I also can't speak for the way anyone was treated at camp because I wasn't there. Can you tell me what you mean by treated differnetly?
From what I saw in the scrimmages, Max played better, and therefore won the starting job. I can't speak to anything that happens behind the scenes.
Track101.
From what I understand Coach Iagulli said he wanted to coach and would only be able to make it to practice 2 or 3 days a week. That is counter productive when you are trying to turn a program around. You need people who are committed to being there everyday, not just when it is convienient. As for you being the coach, you don't have any clue what all goes into being the head coach of a football team, so don't make ludacris statements like you could do a better job.

TRAY, i talked to iagulli and he was upset that you wilkins would not let him coach, he never said anything about only being able to come to 2 or 3 practices. besides he is now coaching a VERY GOOD NBC defense and they must not have a problem with not coming every day. plus i'd take a iagulli 2 or 3 days a week than wilkins 365 days a year.

I have defended Ridge on here many times, but I think I am starting to understand why you guys from Bedford say the things you do. These kids form Ridge don't make any sense. They want to win, as long as they are getting the ball and scoring the touchdown and calling the plays (etc.)
CR Ridge players that are bahing the program:
What a bunch of spoiled babys. The Bedford guys are 100 percent right, you will never win a playoff game, but not because of your coaching, but because you won't do what what you are coached to do. You want to go out their and do your own thing. If I was coach Wilkins(which I am not Track101) I would tell you guys to stick up your a** and go coach a team that will do what it takes to win. I am done defending you guys. You don't deserve to be defended.

nothing whetts my whistle more than when a lion defender sees the light and realizes how wrong theyve been
whats even better is seeing how quickly the team fell apart after its first loss. its amazing isnt it? the first 6 weeks of the season were nothing but rainbows and sunshine in fishertown, but now that the deamons of defeat have settled in, its grey skies above. I LOVE IT!!!

hahahahaha. good call ham!
and track101, what do you want me to believe when for the first 6 weeks i dont see one bit of arguing between players and/or fans but then as soon as you lose just one game, all heck breaks loose? i mean come on, do want me to think that there is some other reason that would explain the sudden signs of turmoil?
