conemaugh valley hosts portage

Post by ConTain14 »

On Staurday, October 22, the Conemaugh Valley Blue Jays (6- 1) will host the Portage Mustangs (7-0).

Will this game be a battle, or will it be one sided (weather it's one sided in cv's favor, or in portage's)

Conemaugh Valley has an excellent athlete in junior quarterback Robert Gunby. He is able to take over a game at any point and create big plays for his team. Vince Turner is also a large part of CV's success this season. Valley's defense has been tough to score upon this season also.

Portage has talent in the backfield this year with one or more backs thar are on track for 1000 yards. A veteran group, the Mustangs have a high scoring offense that can put up points fast. I don't believe that Portage's defense has allowed a 100 yard rusher yet this year.

Should turn out to be a good game.
The important thing is this, to be willing to sacrifice at any time what you are, for what you could become.

As much as i hate to do this...i have to agree with not a playa. its smashmouth football on a terrible field. i hate portage and everything about portage but there is no doubt that they put out a tough westpac football team every year. i predict one loss this year for the green machine and it's not to the blue jays...

Yea i agree with bison. Although I don't hate Portage. The high powered Mustangs will either dominate this game, or it will be close (which I dont see it, but you never know!).

Portage 35
CV 21

As for Portage overall, I think they are going to go 8-1 and unfortunatly lose to Windber AGAIN. As for CV, they are having a great year, and i see them finishing 7-2, and back in the playoffs!

Not a player...either you are a running back for Portage, and you like to talk yourself up, or you have bruised knees from hannging around the Portages backfield in the locker room.

Either way, Valley is overmatched in this one.

Mustangs win to set up another heartbreak season finisher next week!
And the last thing I must tell you...NEVER QUIT!
