Is this Bell kid insane or something? Did he think about this committment? First of all, PSU already has a ton of quality receivers, more than they will need in the near future. Williams, Butler, Norwood, Golden, Rubin, King. He should go somewhere where he can play immediately, and NOT be switched to defense. Secondly, next year will be tough for PSU receivers, with a new QB and the remaking of most of the o-line. Then, in 2008, when Bell should be a junior, they will be breaking in another new QB again. Gonna be tough for him to show his wares without all that commotion going on.

Who's that? How many passes has he thrown? Think he'll play much the rest of the year? Who did he break in against? Cincinnati? Central Michigan? Illinois? I noticed that Morelli got in yesterday. He was 1-2 passing. That'll get him ready for next year I'm sure. Bell is gonna sit at PSU for awhile. He should change his mind NOW.

He'll play... there will be some movement next year. Deon Butler has said he would like to go back to DB from what I read online.

If Bell was SMART, he'd wait to see where the top 5 high school QB's are going, then go to one of those schools and they can GROW together for 4 or 5 years. He's making a big mistake.

I think recruits at Texas, USC, Miami, FSU, etc...look at the other guys and then don't go to a place because they won't play. That is why they NEVER have good teams or backups.

Bell is a bad WR. Guys like Peretta get a shot to play but Bell won't. I mean he is only a 5* guy on scout.com. More than likely he will just sit on the bench forever.

You'll have to excuse guys for not wanting to live in Oakland while playing Division 2 retreads and 1 or 2 good opponents each year. Their conference schedule and television time would get me fired up!

Also, I don't think you go to college with a scholarship offer thinking you are going to ride the pine....some do...some don't. You have the opportunity as a player to decide that.

Austin Scott and Tony Hunt came in together. It looked as if Hunt would be a guy that never got much of a shot at PSU. It looked as if Scott would be one of the greats. They got to school and both guys took different approaches to how to do things and Hunt is the man while Scott sits back and watches.

WVU got Gwaltney...no other backs should go there...but a guy did...Slaton. Last week in 3 OTs against the Cardinals of Louisville, the guy scores 6 touchdowns. That's more than many recruits will EVER get in their entire career.
