Re: district 5
For AA boys at states I look for Travis Dean to be at least top 10, but could be as high as the top 5. I don't see anyone beating Jake Walker. Dunkleberger is very good, but Walker ran a great race at districts (destroying Zarzeczny, another guy who will be top 5). Anyone else locally medalling would be a longshot. Simmons of CC has a shot, but will need a very good race.
For AA girls, Seymour could contend for the title, but Gibson still has to be the favorite. She didn't have her usual margin of victory at districts, but her time was still 20 seconds faster than the AAA winner of district 7. Keep in mind that the D7 district course is much tougher than the D6 course. With that said, if Seymour can duplicate her performance at districts she'll give Gibson all she can handle. Strayer, Cekada and Yingling could get a medal with a great race. I wouldn't count out D5 runner Ashley Wilson. She finished 35th last year and always seems to run her best late in the year. With D5 running separate at districts, I don't think it was a true indication of what she's capable of.

Re: district 5
i ran a 5k road race against jake walker and he ran a 15:14
i think that he will run away with the AA title
but AA isn't as good or in depth as AAA this year at least in my opinion
but look for miller to win that
seymour hands down she has been running those times with nobody there to push her
and in AAA the girl from state college i'm not sure of her name right now but she should win it!

Re: district 5
well actually, if he had raced him, he would be there next to him for the majority of the race, which i doubt he was b/c no one can match the amazing pace of the snake. so actually, eminem, he just happened to be in the same race. also, i would also like to add that i can't believe that distrct 5 is sending a team plus five other runners. its a joke. the meet was more or less a duel meet and the winner barly ran faster then the seymor, who won the girls AA race. its embarrasing to watch states and see the pack come by and five minutes later see kids from d5.

Re: district 5
i also want to clear a past issue up as well. as i was reading a past post it made me think of a conversation i had with a kid from westmont.i heard from him that actually, "ridge", lost to westmont at the tri meet at bedford. the ridge kids were elated when the score were tabulated incorrectly and thought they had beaten westmont. Apparently, the CR kids were so distraught after losing to thier nemisis, bedford, that they didn't stay around long enough to here the scores after they were added correctly. so if u looked in the paper the next day, you would see that the hilltoppers beat bedford as well as the hillbillies. i just wanted to clear the up for any CR kids (eminem) that thought the amazing ridge CC team had beat the hilltoppers, well, they were quite frankly wrong.
