BC/BLV: Great Game
BC/BLV: Great Game
It was a great game. Great hitting on both sides - a number of guys limping after the game. The score was 20-17 with 6 minutes to go in the 4th. The key play was a pass interference call on Blv with BC facing 3rd and 21. BC then took it in to score to make it 27-17. Penalties hurt both teams. I was impressed with the respect both teams had for one another. You hear about all of the bad blood but it must be water over the dam. Guys helped each other up, patted each other on the helmets, etc. In the end I believe the difference was BC's front. They were much bigger and much better than Blairsville's. It seemed that Blairsville's D and O line got worn down by a superior Huskie line as the game went on. The Highberger to Ostash combination was something special as was the tandem of Forcellini and Lauer. Good game and a great game for the fans.
