Handing the ball to an official is something that a CLASSY player would do. There's no room in sports for that, huh?

so if you score the game winning TD in overtime of the state final, you should just walk off the field handing the ball to the ref? I THINK NOT! heck even if you score the go ahead TD in a regular season game, it deserves some celebration, you could even hand the ball to the ref then celebrate or visaversa. but to not allow celebrations is rediculous
