Forest Hills over McCort
Where are you now? That is the question that I would like to be answered. But since we know there won't be any McCort posters on this board until next August, I guess I'll just offer my opinion to the rest of the general audience on bleachercoaches.
Point 1: McCort doesn't own anybody. I mean these guys get on here and claim to the world "We own Forest Hills. Next years whooping will be twice as bad as it was last year".
Well we've seen the results of that. People from McCort wonder why they are hated so bad. They wonder why everyone is always against them. Well, when you go places, act like the world should bow down to you, and then never accomplish anything, you aren't going to get any respect.
Yes Bishop McCort fans, you have a very good football program. But the fact of the matter is you will not be considered to be the best until you win a few championships.
Point 2: How sweet was Will Lazeration's revenge quote? "How better to get back at a team for losing to them twice last year, then to beat them twice this year, and to top it off, in the D6 title game." Yes Will, I agree.
Point 3: Two years in a row now Mccort has been touted to be the class of the District. They have had tons of talent and experience, and still nothing to show for it. I would think now even McCort fans have to be asking themselves what is going on.
Oh, and just a general question here to end this post. I saw on the McCort bleachers a loyalty banner (which is illegal according to the PIAA, not that it is ever enforced). How can they hang a loyalty banner when they are traitors to begin with?

Opinion and others: BM players (and post'ers) are hurting. Everybody knows it. Most of us, especially me, since I've been singled out as the GREATEST BM HATER OF ALL TIME (according to some), have chosen the high moral ground here. As such, we don't have to RUB IT IN. They know they got whupped and have to do a better job phone calling and door knocking. Kind of like politics now, the GOP is on top, the Libs did all they could to bring us down and FAILED, the GOP is gracious in victory but we don't forget. (Elephant's memory) Even GW said nice things about Chickenhawk Jack Murtha, after he tried to stab the Administration in the back with his two-faced, typical Dem. flip-flop the other day. That for another thread!
"What we've got here is...failure to communicate. Some men you just can't reach. So you get what we had here last week, which is the way he wants it. Well, he gets it. I don't like it anymore than you men." -Strother Martin, COOL HAND LUKE

Pale,
That was a good post! Vote Murtha out! If I was older I would run against him. How could a man that is "so great" for the defense industry go and say something like that? Run Johnny Run!
Anyway... The Rangers proved everyone wrong... myself included. I had them going to the playoffs, but losing in the championship game to Bedford. But hey! I'm glad they proved me wrong and I will be up in those stands on BLACK FRIDAY to cheer them onto another victory. GOOD LUCK!

Ken Salem and the Haven all-stars got what they deserved. In getting what they deserved, to me it had nothing to do with being a private school who can in essence recruit alomst legally. It had everything to do with Salem and his cronies being hypocritial bigots who are only worried about themselves and their advancement. Their goold ole' boy approach is pathetic too. Salem always talks about karma, well maybe instead of warning people who he feels are being/doing inappropriate things about karma, he should thing hard about the concept of karma in regards to his own life. The guy is a selfish jerk whose judgement is clouded by his power-hungriness.
Well here's to you Ken Salem and the rest of your cronies, in your quest for great power within the school and politcally outside of the school, you have squandered the oppurtunity to win a district championship, with arguably the best team you have ever had, but then again that is accordding to the "hype" you have created.
And here's to Karma, Ken was so worried telling other people about you that he forgot about you in regards to himself, then again, maybe the Ulmighty Salem actually believed he was so powerful and wise that he was immune to Karma!
On a brighter note, crusher fans, congrats on your 75th consecutive winning season. Maybe you can get a banner in your gym for district championship appearences. You could be like the Buffalo Bills of District 6, always make it to the big game, but can't win the big game, but then again that would not be fair to the Bills, because they made it to the true championship game, in your case that would be the state championship.
To Username6, where have ya been? licking your wounds? You got what you deserved. You talked **** way before the season began. Maybe you should have listened to Karma Ken. Also, congrats on your season 4.7 yards per carry impressive! Also, 1.8 tackles per game wow 18 total tackles. And 2 ints. Congrats overall, for your contribution and impressive stats. I am sure that next year you will lead your team to victory against Forest Hills and maybe Carroll, oh wait nevermind, there is no way that can happen hahaha

Re: Forest Hills over McCort
Well there bishop mccort football player number 6, I mean username number 6. I used to root for mccort, but as you know I no longer do. There is no specific team I root for, I just enjoy following high school football. As far as being " just completely enthralled with denouncing Ken Salem and McCort" that I am not. If I was enthralled by doing that then I would post on here everyday and a lot more often...kinda like you. You are the one who talked **** on Forest Hills before last school year even ended. Anyways, I thought you would have more to say about the game. Cat got your tongue? Do you really think that it is a coincidence that McCort is the most hated team/school/coach on here? I think not. I doubt that all of this hatred or whatever you want to call it stems from envy. Because in that case the most hated teams would be BC, FH, or Windber.
In all reality, I cannot believe how much you post on here. This site is for has beens and fans not current players. Current players are supposed to do there talking on the field, with their play, oh wait you have done that 4.7 yards per carry (McCort had the best line in the conference) and 1.5 tackles per game. Now what does that say?

Back off MrHype. Give the young man a break. At least he had the nerve to get back online and actually post. Where's Pappy and mccort=#1 and all the rest that climbed out of the wood work last week?
So username6 talked some smack during the season. Perhaps he learned a lesson and may be a little more selective in his words next year. Either way it's up to him to determine what he may have learned through this and your comments aren't really helping.
I recall Pappy proclaiming last week that to the victors go the spoils of a D6 championship, bragging rights and talking smack for the next year.
Had the outcome of the game been different, I suspect that we would have heard about it all week. I'm glad that the FH posters took the high road and didn't parlay a victory into a week long party.
You're starting to sound like the Dad of a kid that may have been replaced by username6 or hold some other grudge against the program.
I'll be the first to admit I'm not a McCort fan, but lighten up already. They had their shot, they lost. The players seem to be accepting it better than you.

I'm with Xylo on this one. I enjoy reading your posts and all Mr. Hype because you "tell us how you really feel", and I agree to an extent with a lot of your posts, but I think attacking a single player might be going a little too far.
Besides, if Username6 is indeed who you say he is, I would offer him props. I felt he was one of the best players in the area. He was one of the major reasons FH couldn't get their ground game started.
Also he sat out a number of games, so stats do not always indicate how good a player actually is.
I also hope that this year taught a lot of McCort players a lesson. I would like to see the FH McCort rivalry turn into more like the FH Bedford rivalry.
Heated yes, but respected as well. A little more class will go a long way between these two teams in the future.
