Because that is all that matters, that's why.

The Big East is loaded with teams who are absolute garbage. However, most of those teams have young players in skill positions. In a few years, the Big East might be okay. But right now, it's hard to even watch those teams play.

It is all that matters. That's why it is possible that an Oregon team with one loss will be left out of the BCS while a Notre Dame team with two losses that beat absolutely nobody will get in. Notre Dame gets more fans and better ratings, Oregon does not. It doesn't matter that Oregon is a better team than Notre Dame, it's just that Notre Dame brings in more cash.

Oregon is NOT better than Notre Dame, but it's still a bunch of crap.

True, but I'm just talking better in the wins and losses sense. Like Rice is a better team than Temple, because Rice won a game this year and Temple did not, though if they actually played, Temple would win. I'm saying Oregon is better than Notre Dame as in they have only one loss while UND has two, though I agree with you that Notre Dame would beat Oregon if they played.

I agree Notre Dame has not beaten anyone of true merit, but on the other hand, who has Oregon beaten in the same sense? Sure, their only loss is to #1 USC, but ND played them much closer than Oregon could ever play them even on their best day. Oregon is simply getting hit with the ****-stick, and rightly so. Truth hurts.

Another note, just imagine if the BCS would have never happened, the Pac-10, Big Ten, and Rose Bowl stayed loyal to eachother, and the #1 and #3 teams in the nation would be meeting in the Grand Daddy of them all.

F the BCS.

What are you saying Snap? You think PSU and USC should be meeting up in the national championship? If that's what you're saying, you're nuts, man. Texas and USC deserve to be playing in the national championship. They're both great teams. They're above everyone else in the NCAA. I really want to see these two teams play.

He's just saying that PSU and USC would be meeting up in the Rose Bowl if the BCS had not been instated in 1998. That's all. Texas deserves to be there in the current format.

that was a nice system where the B10 and Pac10 champs met every year in the Rose Bowl, before the BCS, in the 90s (when USC was averaging about 15,000 in the stands), the Big10 annually spanked the Pac10 for the most part.

Why are people even saying that Oregon is comparable to Notre Dame? Oregon is on their 3rd string quarterback and they are terrible. They play terrible teams!

...but not as terrible as the ones Notre Dame beat.
