They don't need him, TAE. I think he decommitted because all of the talent already in the backfield. He was going to have a tough time cracking that backfield anytime soon. That's just my guess, though.

I guess it's always better to have that talent on your team, but with Young, Taylor, Melton, and Charles all being back, he was really going to have to impress to get a lot of carries.

Re: Bowl "What If's"
Here's the thing. I know a guy who is involved in the USC program. He told me before Moody even decommitted that Moody had USC as his frontrunner, because something happened with him and UT. Then the news came out that he decommitted. Then my contact told me that LeSean McCoy has given USC a silent verbal committment. That has not leaked yet. Then the guy told me that Vidal Hazelton went out to USC and was blown away. Then that story was posted on Rivals.
The thing is, is that why would Moody go to USC if McCoy is leaning that way? I have seen Moody play numerous times down here at Coppell and he is the real deal. You're probably gonna wish you had gotten him. I also heard that Moody was involved in some off-the-field troubles. Maybe Texas decommitted HIM.

For bowl games, if USC loses, they may not fall far enough to drop out of the national title game. So it would still, in all likelihood, be them and Texas.
If Texas loses, Texas would drop out of the national title game (because the pollsters know Colorado stinks), but they would still get one of the at large bids. Of course, Notre Dame has an at large tied up (money talks), so that means Ohio State and Oregon won't be in the BCS, and Penn State and USC play for the national title.

I guess these are all moot points now 136-21 those were both pretty convincing wins, if I do say so myself...

Have you see the Texas running backs this season, TAE? They have a very talented backfield with all of them coming back next season. I'm not too worried about not getting Moody. They need a quarterback, though. Vince is going to go pro.

Actually, from what I hear, Vince Young wants to stay. Matt Leinart did stay for another year at USC when he could have been the very first draft pick. Maybe it's the vogue thing to do.

Why's that? Maybe you can actually explain why you think that. Except, you more than likely don't have enough intelligence to do that.
