FH- DOUBLE A '06-through '07

Post by Pale Rider »

This is in response to Gunner's last question about Coach Don Bailey. The PIAA has again changed their class alignments for the next 2 year cycle, and The Rangers will remain at AA. I do not have all the details, but I would suspect it had to do with the recent ruling whereby any school district that has "home schooled" kids in their area that want to compete in athletics for their neighborhood public school (or private?) must be factored into the mix for determining which class a given school competes in. I assume since FH has very few, if any, kids in their boundaries that want to compete in any given sport, that the total count keeps us under that 3A limit. Weeeee'rrreeee BAAAAACKKK! Just when BM thought they would have a cakewalk next year in 6AA! HaHaHaHa!

Other schools may want to re-check their enrollment figures also, maybe if you were barely a AA, now you might be single A!

Parameters for AA for football have changed from 194-323 male enrollment in grades 9-11 for 2004-2006 to 198-337 for 2006-2008. I have yet to see the enrollment figures for 2006-2008, but there are certainly some teams "on the bubble" between A, AA, and AAA.

Does a schizophrenic count as two people?

That's just not true. All the voices in my head tell me they're Napole-ON!

I went to the psychiatrist once. I said, "Doctor. One minute I think I'm a teepee, the next minute I think I'm a wigwam. Then I think I'm a teepee, then I think I'm a wigwam. What's the matter with me?" He said, " You're just two tents".

Last two posts were classic.

Shouldn't schools with schizophrenics get penalized for unfair coaching? Coaches are not allowed in the huddle, or involved in the plays. How is it fair for a kid to hear this:

"Timmy, go left!!!'
"No no no, the defender knows where you're headed!!!'
"Throw it to Ben!!!"
"End is blitzing!!!!!"

Is it possible for a team to take a schizophrenic player to a scientists and have them replace the voices in his head with either legendary players or his high school coaching staff? I may have figured out a way to beat South Park.

The Forest Hills "Derangers"? Nah. Maybe I need a shrink. I've been feeling a little "blue" lately.
