Weekend Picks.
CONFERENCE USA TITLE GAME:
Tulsa vs. Central Florida:
=================
- I'm going to be happy for either of these teams if they win. Tulsa has been the brunt of jokes for a long time, and two years ago Krapthorpe had his team turned around in the right direction. Last year, they had a letdown, but still fared better than most Tulsa teams of the past. I think this game is evidence that Tulsa is on the right track, even if they lose. UCF is another success story, even bigger. After a winless season, O'Leary has turned this team into an 8 win team and conference contender. If that is not enough to win coach of the year, I've never heard of anything better. I'm gonna go with the fairy-tale magic in this one, and take UCF. But both deserve this one.
BIG 12 TITLE GAME:
Texas vs. Colorado:
===============
- I think UT will beat Colorado even worse than they did the first time. There's not many programs in the nation more despicable than Colorado. I hope they get a longhorn sized @$$ whipping every game until they fire that sleazeball Gary Barnett.
Navy vs. Army:
===========
- Navy is down this year, and Ross has his team in the right direction. I'll take the upset. Army by 5.
UCLA vs. USC:
============
- Maurice Drew is the #1 punt returner in the nation, and USC's punt return defense is dead last in the nation. But it doesn't matter. USC will win this game something like 35-33.
SEC CHAMPIONSHIP:
Georgia vs. LSU:
==============
- I haven't picked Georgia in a long time. Give me them here.
Middle Tennessee State vs. Florida International:
================================
- Who knows. MTSU by 6.
West Virginia vs. South Florida:
====================
- No letdown. WVU big.
Louisville vs. UCONN:
=================
- Even without Brohm, I think Louisville will win this game. Should be close though.
ACC TITLE GAME:
Virginia Tech vs. Florida State:
=====================
- Tech in a blowout.
San Diego State vs. Hawaii:
====================
- San Diego close.
Tulsa vs. Central Florida:

Those were some rough picks their, TAE. Did you have an off week or didn't your insiders give you correct information?

Re: Weekend Picks.
Just a rough week. Anything can happen in bowl games or championships. That's why it never matters what the records are going into bowl games/title games/rivalries.

After going through all the picks of the last couple weeks (13 and 14), I now stand at 473-169 (508-183 counting the day TAE was at PSU), and TAE stands at 471-171. I hold a two game advantage going into the bowls, but anything can happen.
