When will BC be ready?

Post by Heaven&Hoops »

Bishop Carroll postponed yet another boys basketball game on Wednesday when they were to play rival Central Cambria. How long do they need to get ready. Forest Hills' football season ended on the same weekend as BC's yet FH played basketball last Friday. I hope the Huskies will soon let everyone know when they are ready to play.

Forest Hills was committed to play in the Rockwood Tournament whether football was over or not. Forest Hills also wanted to postpone both the Richland game on Wednesday and the Johnstown game on Friday of this past week.

Central Cambria was gracious enough to allow BC a postponement. Apparently Richland and Johnstown sought the advantage of an extra two or more weeks of practice.

In most cases schools look forward to basketball season in order to take out some revenge on the Rangers from football.

It is always my favorite when Central Cambria beats Forest Hills on the hardwood, which they do regularly. It is like clockwork right around 2 minutes left you will start to hear FH fans start yelling, "too bad you'll never beat us in football".

Just a little aside that I enjoy every year!
And the last thing I must tell you...NEVER QUIT!

BC's been postponing games for several years now. Maybe the LHAC should not schedule BC or BM --- they haven't had a sub-.500 year since the Zima era, to not play till January, or whenever Patrick Hollern or The Gambler is ready to coach.

BC has the right to postpone games when the football team is playing but the day they lose they should have to start playing. If the piaa thinks this is wrong then maybe they should rethink the football playoffs. BUT GOD FORBID you ever mess with football.
