Character cannot be developed in ease and quiet. Only through experience of trial and suffering can the soul be strengthened, ambition inspired, and success achieved.

BINGO! I'd love to play for Joe Paterno. I don't care how old he is. It's Penn State, it's Happy Valley, it's Penn State Football. I guess all the recruits don't have the same outlook as you do moldo. And thank God for that.

Yes. "I played for Joepa, but he didn't even know who I was. In fact, he didn't even know who HE was".

Pitt has to have 3 games to reach attendance figures comparable to PSU's attendance numbers in ONE game. Keep ripping on PSU. The recruits don't hear it, that's why they keep flocking to Happy Valley.

You keep getting those 2 star athletes. All it takes is a couple of 4 and 5 star to turn a program around, and PSU has more than thier fair share intersted in them. Can't beat 'em, might as well rip on 'em.

one winning season in the new millenium does not make a dynasty. remember everybody was calling for paterno's head last year after his what fourth losing season in a row.

few random pts...

anyone who hates on joepa's intellect is absolutely clueless.

penn state has 7 commits right now. most anyone who knows anything about college football recruiting right now knows that many of the top recruits wait until either the all american game or signing day to officially pick a school. something tells me that penn state will be able to fill their quota for scholarship players somehow even if they do miss out on all of the dozen or so 4 and 5 star recruits they are currently in on.

pitt still has a football team?

i think wpial titan is no longer w/ us b/c usually this time of year he likes to sing his favorite song...hows that go???....something about being home for the holidays???

once again i will suffer the wrath of a penn state freshman changing his number in the offseason. first, austin goes back to his high school # on me after i make this name. now, dwill wants his old high school number, 1, and i will end up sporting a navarro bowman jersey at psu games next year. d'oh

finally, the bucs need to sign milton bradley. please please please. highest comedy evah ensues hearing bob walk talk about unkle milty as a pirate player. the guy is a bamf and the bucs need that in the worst way.

Actually it can be done in less than that. Seven home games plus playing @ Michigan and Ohio State.
