Nothing wrong with assumption. Many steps in a classical geometrical proof are built upon things we "assume" to be true. Hence the term "postulate" or "axiom".

He really actually believes his own nonsense, that's what is so ridiculous about it. That recruiting class is because your head coach is an ex NFL head coach. Wannstedt has people skills. I'm not criticizing, I'm just saying. Whatever you gotta do to right the ship... well, make an attempt to right it.

How many recruits did this recruiting coordinator bring in on his own? About zero. Any kid would be impressed by meeting an ex NFL coach who theoretically was the brains behind the defense on those good Cowboys teams. THAT is why the recruiting class is good, not because of some recruiting coordinator. That's all Wannstedt, Moldo. The proof of that is in the fact that Pitt's recruiting died off the second you started losing those games.

Jennings transferring is signing his own death certificate. The only competition he has is Kevin Collier, the JUCO kid from New York, and Jennings has the upper hand on him already because he knows the system. LaRod is fast, but he's not ready to start yet. Jennings is transferring to a school that just lost their offensive and defensive coordinators. Have a good time in Charlottesville, you might carry the ball 6 times before you graduate. Contrary to belief, Al Groh knows how to recruit. He gets good players, just like the rest of the middle-to-top ACC teams all do. They just don't win with them. Nice decision.

That kid is not good enough to play in the ACC at a good program. You don't transfer up, you transfer down.

So if Gattuso didn't do much, who's going to miss him, right? Let him therefore go to IUP. Wannstedt has people skills. Paterno has a BIG stadium. You use whatever you have in impressing 18 year old kids. And in geometry, they are called "proofs". Using Theorems and facts, you do "proofs". Not much assuming in geometry, or any math for that matter.

In the sense I used

"Proof" is an acceptable usage.

So you would believe me, here is a "proof" taken from a paper written by researchers at MIT.

Back to the Pitt transfer. I'm not exactly sure why he would transfer to a program in the turmoil that VA is currently in; and El, I'll agree with you (for once) that Scott should have transferred last year. Many PSU fans would agree.

So the Exodus has begun, huh? Well, Dave Brytus, punter for Purdue the last 2 seasons, has announced that he is transferring to Pitt. He will sit out next season, then have 2 years of eligibility left starting in the 2007 season. Brytus also handled kickoffs for the Boilermakers last season. Present Pitt punter Adam Grassle will be a senior NEXT year when Brytus sits out that year. Brytus was one of the 10 finalists for the Ray Guy Award this past year, given to the best punter in college football.

I think all PSU fans argree that Scott should have transferred. He'll never play now. Tony Hunt is lightyears ahead of that kid in every football aspect. He does not deserve playing time.

I dont understand how you transfer up the ladder. How are you not good enough to play at Miami Ohio but you are a starter at Ohio State? Once in a great while the smaller team will get a stud RB or whatever, but give me a break. Jennings is a 3 star RB, I guess UVA doesn't have anyone better than him on their depth chart.

but maybe he'll be good for pitt, just cuz they'll be punting the ball a lot... hell, maybe he'll set a record for most punts in a season
