Last week a van of illegal immigrants crashes in the area. Immigration is called but they do not come pick them up. Police are told to just let them go. This is not the first time this has happened. Why is our government allowing these people to go free? They wasted valuable time of emergency personnel, police, and doctors and then allow them to walk away to do who knows what.

Had cable installed last week. The installer is an illegal immigrant who has been working here illegally for two years. He is working for a major American company. Do I report it to the company? Do they care? Obviously INS doesn't.

Last for now. The HOV lane. I think this is the biggest waste of money there is. For those who don't know, it's a lane on the highway that is for vehicles with two or more occupants. It is supposed to promote carpooling. It's usually about half empty while 20,000 cars sit wasting gas in the other lanes. Good concept, but the reality is that it probably wastes more resources than it conserves.

Do they actually ticket cars that do not have two or more occupants?

The whole Pitt vs PSU thing. Just let it continue to be a friendly rivalry, like FH and Tyrone or Bedford and Ridge. Seems some people get severely chastised for having a different opinion and making others realize there are other views than their own.

I agree. People take these rivalries too seriously. FH/Bedford is a great football rivalry. But I like it even better because the two teams and fans seem to respect each other. We could use some more of that on here. Show some dignity and class for whatever you represent, and respect for your opponent.

theres really no love nor respect between bedford and ridge there pr. but bedford/forest hills is quite possibly the best rivalry in the area

Here's a rave. We've all heard young ladies performing the Star Spangled Banner before high school sporting events. Well, my hats off to anyone singing the National Anthem.

heres a rant...jack***es that let their kids run around screaming during the National anthem...alot of men have bled and died for that flag and that song and people dont even have the gratitude to respect it

how many kids do you have? it is not always easy. sometimes i would almost rather remove my cap and stand than chase my kids around like a monkey during that part of it. but i'm sure someone at some point has intoleratly thought get control of your kids"! but hey there is only so much ritalin!!!

SICKENING! Sex offenders have the highest recidivism rate of any type of crime.

This guy may have once given out harsh sentences (if you do some research on him), but this sentence absolutely requires for him to be removed from the bench and sent out to pasture.
